Sphinx Andrea Bernieri 1823-38

A highly stylised and colourised engraving of the Great Sphinx and the pyramid of Khufu dating to between 1823-1838. The engraving by Andrea Bernieri is based largely on a painting of the Sphinx by Luigi Mayer.
